Made for the PIGSquad Crafting/ DIWhy jam, August 2023

Chicken portrait by Amanda Rivera Stahlschmidt (Air.Artist)

My goal for this jam was to make some sort of Arduino-controlled escape-room-style prop. And I definitely did that: I ended up building is an RFID reader that listens for specific tags, in sequence, and when the sequence is complete, fires a solenoid. What that looks like is: if you tap the three rubber chickens against the chicken portrait in correct color order, LEDs across the top will light up. Tap all three and a tiny rubber chicken gets ejected from behind the frame.

...yep.
